BalanceLog Palm Tungsten T3, T5 Patch
This patch enables BalanceLog 2.1 to fully function using Graffiti on the Palm Tungsten T3 or T5. You need this patch if you use BalanceLog on the T3 or the T5 and have encountered problems when using Graffiti to search for items in the BalanceLog database.
Note: This patch is for BalanceLog 2.1 - and it is only necessary if you use a Palm Tungsten T3 or T5. It will not work with other versions of BalanceLog.
Patch Installation Instructions:
Before you do anything else, verify you are using BalanceLog version 2.1, 2.1.1 or newer.
1. Open BalanceLog on your Palm Pilot
2. Tap the Menu Icon on your Palm Pilot
3. Tap About
You should see a long number that begins with 2.1, such as 2.1.10.41. If your number does not begin with 2.1, then you must upgrade to 2.1 before continuing.
When you have verified that you have BalanceLog 2.1 installed, perform the following steps:
1. Download the
BalanceLog Tungsten T3
patch.
2. Double click on the file you downloaded, called tungstent3patch.prc.
3. You will see the Palm Quick Install screen. You should see BalanceLog PRC in the list of files to be installed. If you have more than one PDA, please verify the correct Palm Device (user) is selected in the Palm Quick Install screen. Click on the X in the upper right of this screen to close it.
4. Now synch your Palm Pilot - the patch will be installed.
To verify successful installation of the patch, return to the BalanceLog version screen described above. You should now see BalanceLog version 2.1.11.42.
